Author Bio

Born at the boundary between Millennial and Gen-Z, Maverick Asterson is a native of New York City, where he currently resides. A hobbyist writer since elementary school, he got his start with thankfully never published Pokémon fanfiction, during the writing of which a gradual interest in worldbuilding began to arise.

Due to a growing emphasis on self-organization, Maverick Asterson began numbering projects mostly sequentially starting in 2013, when he began working on digital one-shots and short stories. It was also at this time that he began dabbling in teratophilia and homoerotic works focused on gay men, with topics such as dragons and sentient zombies featuring notably. This numbering system remains in use on this website and is expected to continue for the foreseeable future.

After coming out as gay in late 2014, Maverick Asterson's work has primarily focused on gay male (or similar) characters in fantasy or science fiction environments - a trend that has continued to the present day. Countless worlds and concepts for alternative biologies for both humans and other intelligent beings have been immortalized in the written form, from third sex space humans to fantasy worlds with symbiosis between men and other creatures to reincarnated into a fantasy world settings.

After numerous stories that ended in scope or character creep, and a graveyard of worlds that couldn't retain enough author interest to see continued development, Maverick Asterson finally completed his first multi-chapter work in late 2022 and has since vowed to write focused stories with planned endings. He hopes that readers of his works will find them to be interesting in setting and content, and may find enjoyment beyond that of post-literary afterglow.

Notes on Maverick Asterson

The Maverick Asterson pen name is focused on gay male erotica and related works, but generally in fantasy and science fiction settings. Works may include monsterfucking (with sentient monsters only), demihumans, and alternate biologies for humans. In general, happy endings are preferred.

Maverick Asterson does not publish works featuring the following: violent rape for titillation, gore for titillation, snuff (including vore where one party dies or is implied to die), necrophilia (unless with zombies capable of rational thought), or scat. Rape or violence may happen as part of plot or be a part of a character backstory, but will never be the focus of a published work.
